McLaren stripped of Constructors Points and get $100m fine.

McLaren have lost all their points in the 2007 Formula One constructors’ championship after the FIA ruled in the ‘spygate’ case. They also got smacked with a record $100m (£50m) fine. The only good news from McLaren’s perspective is that the drivers, Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso, get to keep their points.

McLaren team chief Ron Dennis is due to speak later this evening.

Personally, I think he should tell the FIA where they can stick their Formula…
